Welcome to Trunk! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trunk mobile application ("App") operated by Trunk ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
The App is a personal productivity tool designed to help you manage reminders and tasks. You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App to transmit any viruses or malicious code
2. Account Registration
Some features of the App require you to create an account. You may sign in using Google or Apple authentication. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
3. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers optional premium features through subscription plans. By purchasing a subscription:
- You agree to pay the subscription fees as displayed in the App
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play
- Refunds are handled according to the policies of Apple or Google, as applicable
4. User Content
You retain ownership of all reminders, tasks, and other content you create in the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your User Content solely to provide the App's services.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not monitor or control User Content and are not responsible for any User Content.
5. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Trunk and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
We are not responsible for any missed reminders or notifications due to device settings, network issues, or other factors outside our control.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUNK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Trunk operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
